Audient Zen in High Resolution Praise
Audient is delighted to announce that the Audient Zen recording console has won the ‘Best Desk/Controller Award’ in the 2010 Resolution Awards. It is the magazine’s readers who cast the votes, and they are said to include some of the most knowledgeable people in the audio industry.
“We are thrilled that the readers of Resolution felt that the Zen was the best console in 2010,” explains Audient’s Sales and Marketing Director Luke Baldry. He continues, “The standard in the category this year was higher than ever, and we’re very pleased to come out on top! It’s very rewarding to get this honour after the all the hard work that went into designing and manufacturing the desk. The Audient Zen has found a home in many studios all around the world and this award goes to show just how powerful and flexible Audient users are finding the console.”
Zen brings Audient’s high resolution mixing technology to the forefront of the modern studio environment with an intuitive blend of classic analogue audio and flexible DAW integration. At its heart Zen is a compact, classic analogue recording and mixing console. The high-resolution signal path is based on the design of the classic ASP8024 and draws on David Dearden’s wealth of experience going back to the 1970s, combining the benefits of traditional discrete circuitry with the latest advances in audio design technology.
