London, April 2010 – High-end audio supplier KAZBAR Systems Ltd recently specified an Audient high resolution mixing console Zen, as part of a full studio upgrade for Nigel Pulsford. Ex-guitarist and founder of British alternative rock band Bush, Pulsford was quickly convinced by Zen.
“Nigel looked at various options whilst specifying his desk, but Zen was the clear winner. It came down to the brilliant sound and amazing onboard facilities,” explains Gavin Miller of pro audio installation company Kazbar Systems. “The fact that it is a great price as well sealed the deal.”
A compact, classic recording and mixing console, Zen combines analogue mixing technology with flexible DAW integration, seamlessly blending the two formats, making the ideal mixing desk for the modern studio environment.
“After 2 years of trying to work ‘in the box’ I decided I could stand it no longer and started looking for a desk again,” explains Pulsford, who rose to prominence with Bush in the 90s. “The Zen seemed to provide all I needed. I particularly liked the fact that it was British made which meant any problems could be resolved quickly and also that it was very flexible.” Pulsford is currently finishing off his second solo album and doing work for TV and various producers in his newly kitted out studio.
Kazbar Systems specifies and installs premium recording equipment to artists, studios, management and record companies across the UK.
