London, March 2006 – Three months after the Audient ASP8024 was installed, clients continue to pour in to Wimbledon based Chapel Studios. Owner Steve Williams is still enjoying his console as much as the day it was delivered.
'I love the ergonomic layout, it was obviously designed by people who appreciate what studio engineers want. Chapel Studios has a range of visiting engineers from different backgrounds, and the intuitive design of the console means that they can just sit down and get on with the job without having to take time getting used to a new desk,' explains record producer Steve Williams.
He has nothing but praise for the features. 'The Audient has a fantastic EQ, and the summing gives real depth to mixes. I particularly like the transparency of the desk. Stirling Trading were spot on when they introduced me to this desk; it does everything I wanted and fell in my price range. Oh, and it looks good too!'
