Audient in the frame at ArtSound

Artsound control room

Indonesia, February 2006 – Owned by a famous Indonesian art critic, the elegant ArtSound Studio has been recently refurbished to a high standard, featuring Audient’s ASP8024 as the mixing console of choice. Located in high-class Kelapa Gading, one of the most modern areas of Jakarta, ArtSound Studio wanted a console that reflected its refined surroundings.

Studio Director Aryo Seto designed the facility. He explains about the decision to purchase an ASP8024. 'We had only heard positive information about Audient, so despite not having heard a demo of the console, we had no worries about buying it. At the final tuning of the studio, it was clear that we did the right thing by choosing Audient’s ASP8024.'

Seto continues, 'It made sense to go for the Audient as it was within our price range, unlike similar large format consoles. The sound quality is very good, exactly to our taste. We have definitely got great value for money.

'The standard required of a recording studio in Indonesia is getting higher and higher, with clients expecting an extremely accurate Studio & Control Room with world-class equipment such as Digidesign ProTools HD3, Audient and Neumann microphones, all of which we can now provide – and at a reasonable price!'

ArtSound Studio has a diverse client base: from university bands doing demo tracks; churches and worship projects; regular artists from major indie labels to Indonesian Government Diplomatic Corps recording their music at ArtSound Studio.

With the studio lounge walls decorated with owner, Mr Agus Dermawan’s art collection, there is more than enough to inspire creativity at ArtSound Studio. Further information is available from www.artsoundstudio.com.
