First Audient ASP8024s in Japan

Tokyo, 22 June 2005 – Nihon University were so pleased with their ASP8024 recording console, that they have just taken delivery of a second one in their Art Department, as a part of the development of a recording studio room at a university Arts Centre. The first Audients to be installed in Japanese recording studios, they are being used by first and second year university students.

When deciding to upgrade the original console, there were a number of factors that were taken into consideration. Mr Morita, System Producer from the Broadcast Dept at the university, comments, 'We did think about choosing a digital console, but through our research we realised that the analogue option was more suitable for our needs.

'The console is used in a variety of different subjects. The layout of the features is so user-friendly, even engineers who haven’t used it can get to grips with it in double-quick time.' Morita continues, 'Then there is the outstanding function and audio quality of the Audient desk. All in all, we are happy with our decision and very satisfied with the result,' concludes Morita.

The Audient ASP8024 was supplied by Japan’s Audient distributor MTC Japan, which distributes complementary pro audio lines such as Turbosound, LabGruppen and Quested. For further information please visit www.mtc-japan.com.
